Nicola Watershed Aquifer Classification and Mapping
Resource description:
Golder Associates Ltd. was retained by the Fraser Basin Council, in partnership with the BC Ministry of Forests, Lands, and Natural Resources, and Rural Development to provide aquifer mapping and classification services for 13 BC Geological survey mapsheets in the Nicola Watershed Region. The purpose of the project is to update previous mapping completed in the area with newly-obtained subsurface information and to form the framework for development of a conceptual hydrogeological model for the area and potential numerical or analytical groundwater flow modelling.
